Graveside for Bill McWilliams, Jr. will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday December 12, 2009 at Magnolia Cemetery with Reverend Mike Boles and Dr. Rhett Payne officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. McWilliams, 58, of Meridian, died December 10, 2009 at his residence. Mr. McWilliams was retired as Vice President of Consumer Oil Company. He attended Meridian High School, The University of The South, and Millsap's College. He was an outstanding basketball player during his school career in high school and college. His loves, other than his family, was participating in the Meridian youth baseball and basketball programs. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Diane Skinner McWilliams, his two sons, Delaney Eugene McWilliams, and Lance Majure McWilliams, his two grandchildren Kayla Nicole McWilliams, and Matthew Majure McWilliams, his parents, Billy and Virginia McWilliams, and his brother Lauren Majure McWilliams, and his long time friend and supporter Ben Alexander. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Boys and Girls Club of Meridian (1717 45th Ave. Meridian, MS 39307-5473). There will be no visitation.
