Bill Smith

Graveside services for William F. “Bill” Smith will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Cokers Chapel Cemetery, with Reverends Davey Wilkinson and David Keller officiating.  Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Smith, 76, of Meridian, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016, at his residence.

Bill retired from the US Navy after twenty-one years of service and was a member of Cokers Chapel.  He was a wonderful husband, father, pawpaw, and great-pawpaw.  He was a good Christian man who would give you the shirt off his back and who gave his heart to the Lord thirteen years ago.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Brenda R. Smith; daughter, Patty (Ski) Zadorsky; sons, Donald (Billie) Smith and David (Dell) Smith; daughter, Sandy (Danny) Anthony; daughter, Cheryl (Mike) Antunes; daughter, Tiffany (Dexter) McDonald; fifteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Tony (Collette) Smith; sister, Janice Stutts and Dorothy Burnt, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Millie Smith, and two sisters.
