"Bill" Tucker Master Electrician Services for William A. Tucker will be held Monday, September 13, 2010 at 3:00 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dale Moore officiating. Burial will in Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Tucker, 92, of Meridian, died Friday, September 10, 2010 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a Master Electrician. Mr. Tucker was a Veteran of WWII and served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Masons, a Shriner and the VFW. He was also a Ham Radio Operator. Mr. Tucker retired from Tennessee Valley Authority and was an active volunteer with Emergency Management. Survivors include his daughter, Sylvia Compton of Meridian; grandchildren, Katrina Brown and her husband Grant, Henry Compton, Christal Coker and her husband Chris; great-grandchildren, Raeanna Brown, Jacob Compton, Ava and Ana Coker; mother of his child, Rosalie Stephens; nephews, Jerry Tucker, Bob Tucker; and cousin, R.L. Tucker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Tucker; parents, Adia Tucker and Imogene Wright; grandson, Paul Compton; son n law, Ray Compton; and many close friends.
