Billy L. Edney

Graveside services for Mr. Billy Edney will be held Friday, April 6, 2018, at 10:30am at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, with Rev. Davey Wilkinson officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Edney, age 89, of Meridian passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Edney was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in both the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War; he served his country for a total of twenty-four years, retiring as a Sergeant First Class. He was a member of Coker’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Mr. Edney was also a member of the local Moose Lodge and the VFW.

Survivors include his children, Lance Edney, Rose Marie Lucovich, Barbara Ann Moseley, and Jim Keenum (Janet); daughter-in-law, Robin Edney; and his sister, Louise Rainer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Keenum Edney; sons, David Edney and Ray Edney; and his parents, Bill and Clarice Edney.
