Billy H. Ligon Services for Billy H. Ligon will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Joe Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Ligon, 78, of Meridian died Sunday, November 3, 2013, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He retired after twenty-seven years from Lockheed. Mr. Ligon was an avid buyer and seller of antiques and earned the nickname of "Good Buy Bill". Mr. Ligon was a member of Carmel Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was also a Mason and a Shriner. Survivors include his wife of thirty-two years, Amelia Ligon of Meridian; daughter Vicki Hudler and husband Mike of Meridian; son, Billy D. Ligon and wife Anita of Meridian and step-daughter, Tracy Fortenberry of Hattiesburg; grandchildren, Michael Lee Hudler, Heath Hudler, Ginny Ligon, Jason Greene, Josh Greene, Ashleigh Fortenberry and Tyler Fortenberry and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Erwin and Roxie Ligon and step-son, Keith Robertson. Pallbearers will be Michael Lee Hudler; Heath Hudler, Jason Greene, Tyler Fortenberry, Larry Whitehead and Woody Woodward. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Wilkinson, John Flanagan, Fred Bean, Roy Rushing, Roger Davidson, Frank Davidson, Bruce Griffin, Charlie Peterson, Gene Lawson, Travis Sullivan, Ken Herrington and Rickey Reese.
