Billy Ray Trest Funeral services for Billy Ray Trest will be held Monday, August 17, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Reverend Ed Breaux officiating. Burial will be at New Hope Baptist Church with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Trest, 69, passed away Wednesday, August 12, at his home. Billy Ray was a retired teacher who taught at Northeast High School. Survivors include his numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William O. and Annie Trest; brothers, Charles Fletcher, O.C. Trest, and Gilbert Trest; sisters, Mattie Elam and Mary Boone. Pallbearers will be his nephews.
