Billye Ella Taylor Funeral services for Billye Ella Taylor will be held Monday, June 23, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Danny Lanier and Reverend Macon Phillips officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Taylor, age 86, of Meridian, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of William Jordan Smith and Lula Dell Abel Smith. She was a longtime daycare operator and was affectionately known as "Taylor," and a member of Northcrest Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Evelyn Jane Taylor of Meridian, Charlene Taylor Key of Pontotoc, MS, and Della Joyce Taylor of Meridian; six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Jordan Smith and Lula Dell Abel Smith; husband, Charles H. "Chuck" Taylor; son, Charles Louis Taylor; brothers, Louis V. Smith and W.J. Smith; and sisters, Beulah F. Flaunders and Hazel Lowrimore. Pallbearers will be James Key, Louis Taylor, Britt Pevey, Max Phillips, Doug Van Fleet, Billy Blaine, and Mark Milling.
