Funeral services for Bob Williamson will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 2:30pm at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Reverend Sidney Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Williamson, age 86, of Martin passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Bob, a member of Westwood Baptist Church, served in the US Air Force. He worked as a truck driver and later owned and operated Williamson Drilling Company. Before retiring, he was employed by Lauderdale County.
He is survived by his daughter, Debra Ruleau; grandchildren, Bob Harmon (Bobbie), Elizabeth Harmon Threatt (Patrick), Frank Harmon (Kelsi) and Debby Ward (Brandon); 6 ½ great grandchildren; sisters, Arlene Baker and Iwana Hayes (Sonny); sisters-in-law, Maurine Williamson and Earline Busby (Carlos); brother-in-law, Lowry White (Sherry); son-in-law, Gary Harmon (Lesha); and a special friend, Linda Webb.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gary Ann McNeel Williamson; daughter, Rebecca Ann Harmon; parents, Jeff Williamson and Esther Pool Williamson; brothers, Steve “Toots”, Charles and Norwood “Punk” Williamson; and sister, Carlene Galli.
Pallbearers will be Mike Long, Greg Long, Steve Williamson, Tony Williamson, Brian Long, Gary Howard, Glenn Howard, Richard Galli, Roger Joyner, Phillip Jurgenson. Honorary pallbearers are the Piggly Wiggly of Collinsville Breakfast Club, A special friend, George McCoy, and a brother-in-law, Oliver (Nood) Howard.
