Bobby Vernon Adams, Sr. Funeral services for Bobby Vernon Adams, Sr. will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ronnie Adams, Brother Mike Russell, and Brother Brian Cullpepper officiating. Burial will be at Kewanee Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Adams, age 74, of Dalewood, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Rush Hospital. He was retired from Gulf States Paper after 40 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Lauderdale. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Shirley Adams; sons, Bobby Adams, Jr., Billy Adams and Bobby Adams, III; grandchildren, Noah Adams and Destiny Adams; father, Frank Adams of Gilbertown, AL; brothers, Prentiss Adams of Mobile, AL and Ronnie Adams of Gilbertown, AL; and sisters, Geraldine Sullivan of Gilbertown, AL and Lavon Pugh of Waynesboro.
