Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Cooper will be held Monday, April 20, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 to 12:45 at the funeral home prior to services. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Bobby Cooper, 90, of Meridian, MS, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Bobby was a longtime employee of Dement Printing, wearing many hats in the company. Most people will remember him as a Sales Representative and then retiring as the Office Manager.
Bobby was also a founding member of Westwood Baptist Church. He remained a faithful member of the church, serving as a deacon, teaching Sunday school, and as the Sunday School coordinator.
One of his hobbies was building birdhouses and then giving them away for others to enjoy.
He is survived by his daughter, Sheila Hines (Stanley); grandchildren, Whitney Fuller (Cody), Dylan Cooper, Drew Cooper, Anna Price (Andrew), Tyra Cooper, and Emylee Ingram; great-granddaughter, Kaytlen Ingram and many extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his wife Edwina Cooper; sons, Dennis Cooper and Gary Cooper; parents, Willie and Lillie Cooper; and 4 siblings.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Westwood Baptist Church or Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Bobby's honor.
