Bobby "Don" Thrash

Celebration of life for Mr. Bobby “Don” Thrash will begin at 1:00pm Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel with Mr. Keith Lovett and Mr. Tristan Rowell officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Thrash, 65, of Meridian passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Rush Foundation Hospital of Meridian.

Mr. Don never met a stranger; he loved people and in return they loved him. He was a friend to all and had no enemies, he was his brother’s keeper. Mr. Don also loved his family dearly and cherished his grandchildren. Don was a hard worker and instilled his work ethic into many others; he was the owner of Thrash Pest Control for many years and spent over 40 years in pest control in total. Mr. Don was a member of Northside Church of Christ and loved his church family. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, his customers, and his dirt track racing family.

Don is survived by his wife of 39 years, Gerri Thrash; children, Donielle Stephens (Ben), and Holly Lovett (Jeremiah). Grandchildren, Bowen Stephens, Marley Lovett, and Lillian Grace Lovett. Mother, Louise Thrash; siblings, Sharron Stephens, Charles Thrash (Jannie), Kevin Thrash (Verna), and Kyle Thrash (Amy); step-mother, Tina Thrash; step-siblings, Bruce Baker (Carla), and Beverly Steiner (Kevin), as well as a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Don is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Don Thrash.

The family requests memorials be made as donations to Northside Church of Christ in lieu of flowers.
