Bobby Gene Gibson

Graveside services for Mr. Bobby Gene Gibson will begin at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2018 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Gary Lane Pickard officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Bobby, age 85, of Meridian passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 at Rush Foundation Hospital.

Mr. Bobby owned and operated Gibson and Townsend Texaco, on Russell Drive, with his nephew, Bobby Ray Townsend, Sr. Mr. Bobby was also a veteran of the United States Army.

Mr. Gibson is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Myrtis Lucille Gibson; sister in laws, Nellie L. Catlett, Sarah Cross, Elois Pickard, Mary Gibson and Fredna Cross, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bobby is preceded in death by his brother, Ray Gibson and sister, Wila Merle Townsend (Joe) and his parents, Curtis and Elvie Gibson.

Pallbearers will be George Gibson, Austin Nolon, Tim Catlett, Bobby Townsend, Jr., Howard Gibson, T.J. Cross and Tyler Gibson.
