Bobby Charles "Bob" Harper Services for Bobby Charles "Bob" Harper will be held Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Roy Dabbs and Albert McMullen officiating. Burial will be in Old Marion Cemetery. Mr. Harper, 80, of Meridian, passed peacefully Thursday, September 22, 2011 surrounded by his loving family at his residence. He was retired. Mr. Harper was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was a cattle farmer and loved bailing hay. Survivors include his wife, Billie Jean Harper of Meridian; sons, Charles Harper and his wife Sallie of Meridian, Harold Harper and his wife Rebecca of Meridian; sister, Catherine Creel and her husband Jerry of Meridian; brother, Raymond Harper and his wife Doris of Meridian; grandchildren, Brian Harper of Meridian and Chelsey Harper of Meridian; special caregiver, Diane Avery; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his daughter in law, Beverly Harper; grandson, Chad Harper; parents, Preston and Ruby Harper; brothers and sister, Paul Harper, Bernard Harper, Bill Harper, Rex Harper and Mamie Booker. Pallbearers will be Paul Harper, Gary Harper, Glenn Harper, Randy Harper, Dale Creel and Mike Booker.
