Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Bobbye S. Black, age 75, of Meridian, died Friday, December 09, 2011 in Meridian. Mr. and Mrs. Black would have celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on December 22. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of Arkadelphia Baptist Church in Bailey, MS. Survivors include her husband Cecil Black of Meridian; daughters, Susan Johnson and husband Tony of Meridian, and Kim Smith and husband Ricky of Meridian; son, Jerome Black and wife Shana of Philadelphia, MS; Five grandchildren, Dustin and Kyle Johnson of Meridian, Amber and Ashley Craven of Meridian, and Ava Shayne of Philadelphia, MS; and sisters, Sharon Hill of Athens, GA, and Iris Isaacs of Jackson, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, Odessa Smith and W.D. Smith; and brothers, Fred Smith and Danny Smith.
