Bonnie Jean Jones

Bonnie Jean Jones, 91, of Meridian, died at home, August 21, 2021.  She enjoyed being a homemaker for her husband and two boys in the Clarkdale community.  She had also worked at Howard Brothers in Meridian.  She was a life-long member of New Hope Baptist Church serving in many areas during her earlier years.

Funeral service for Bonnie Jean Jones will be held Monday, August 23, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with Bro. Doug Goodman and Bro. Mike Everett officiating.  Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.  Survivors include her grandchildren, Stacy Jones Burt (Robby) and Ricky Jones; great-grandchildren, Robert and William Burt; daughters-in-law, Renee Boatner (Buster) and Patsy Jones.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Jones and their sons Mike and Lester Jones; parents, Richard and Eva McLemore; sisters, Walterine Weaver, Margaret Rolison, Inez Duvalle and Louise Martin; brothers, Quincy McLemore, Otis McLemore and Bernard McLemore.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Jones, Buster Boatner, Robert Burt, William Burt, Steve Sodoma and Michael Sodoma.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to New Hope Baptist Church Building Fund.
