Bonnie L. Williamson

Funeral services for Bonnie Williamson will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Brother Paul Trosper officiating.  Burial will follow at Meridian Memorial Park.

Mrs. Williamson, 96, of Meridian, passed away June 6 at Bedford Care Center.

Bonnie was born and raised in Neshoba County. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Bonnie and her husband, Dalton, were also loving foster parents to thirty-four children. She was a very gifted cake decorator and seamstress, and would often make clothes from patterns she cut out. Bonnie was a faithful member of First Church of God in Meridian.

Survivors include her son, Charles Williamson (Janet); daughter, Linda Beatty (Royce); grandchildren, Sheri Schanrock (Chris), Charlene Babbini (Ron), Joseph Weber, Bonnie Allen, Melissa Newman (Lee), and Russ Buntyn; great-grandchildren, Matt Schanrock (Rachel), Morgan Boone (Carl), Chelsea Williams, Devin Weber, Hailey Weber, Grayson Newman, Harper Newman, Callie Buntyn, and Hadley Buntyn; great-great-grandchildren, Dalton Boone, Mallory Boone, and Audrey Schanrock; sister, Joyce Dunlap (Paul) and her brother, Dewayne Joyner (Jean); and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of seventy-six years, Dalton Williamson; parents, Venton and Verbia Joyner; sisters, Juanita Joyner and Bobbie Marie Russell; and brothers, Doyle Joyner and Jack Joyner.
