Brandon Phillip Taylor

Services celebrating the life of Brandon Phillip Taylor will begin at 12:00 PM Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel, with friends and family officiating. The Taylor Family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM prior to funeral rites in the chapel. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Taylor, 29, of Starkville, died Saturday, September 5, 2026, due to an automobile accident.

Brandon was a graduate of Russell Christian Academy in 2015; he went on to Meridian Community College and finally went to Mississippi State University where he obtained his BS in Psychology. Brandon was currently pursuing his degree in electrical engineering from MSU. Brandon and his brother, Austin, were both ordained by God to be adopted January 17,1998 from an orphanage in Vladivostok, Russia; their parents Art and Celeste, along with their grandmother, Patsy, were blessed in this journey with two new joy’s in life. Brandon was a joy to be around; he was the most kind, loving, and tender-hearted child, who held his family and friend’s captive with his sense of humor and whit. Brandon was an athlete from childhood and loved playing baseball, soccer, and especially loved Football. He was awarded Most Improved player in his sophomore year after winning a state championship. He was also elected Homecoming King his senior year at Russell Christian Academy. He went on to marry his high school sweetheart in 2019, Emma, after beginning their relationship in 2012. He deeply loved his family and cherished their relationship; He always kept a strong bond with his brother.

Brandon enjoyed traveling and spending time at the beach with family and friends. He also loved amusement parks and roller coasters. He was always ready for an adventure whether hiking, ziplining, or white water rafting, he was ready to go.

Throughout he maintained his kindness and tender-heartedness; to know him was to love him. He would light up a room and always bring smiles and laughter to others when they needed it most.

Brandon is survived by his wife, Emma Taylor; his father, Art Taylor (Deborah); his brother, Austin Taylor (Maddie); his maternal grandmother, Patsy Irby (Wiley); paternal grandmother, Margie Taylor; his nephew, Dawson Taylor; his niece, Evelyn Taylor; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

Mr. Taylor is preceded in death by his mother, Celeste Taylor; his paternal grandfather, Jerry Taylor; and his paternal great-grandmother, Margie Sue Goodman.

The Taylor family suggests memorials be made as donations to the Samaritans Purse, at Samaritan’s Purse PO Box 3000 Boone, NC 28607 in lieu of flowers.
