Bro. Jewell Greer

Funeral services for Bro. Jewell Greer will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Russell Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Taylor, Bro. Jack Kern, and Bro. David Holifield officiating. Burial will be held at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Bro. Jewell, age 55, of Meridian passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 at Russell Baptist Church.

Jewell faithfully served the Lord for thirty years at Russell Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Jo Greer; sons, Jayce Greer (Renee’) and Noah Greer (Kelsey); two grandchildren, Hank Greer and Sadie Greer; parents, Hubert and Delores Greer; sister, Becky Lockhart (Greg); brother, Ronald Greer (Jennye); and numerous nieces, nephews, in laws, and family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

The family requests memorials be made to the Gideon’s International to spread the Word of God that Jewell so faithfully lived.

Pallbearers will be Caleb Morris, Josh Lockhart, Cullen Greer, Cade Rast, Zack Rast, and Hootie Chapman.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 4, 2018, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Russell Baptist Church and two hours prior to the service at the church.
