Funeral services for Brother Steve Winstead will be held Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Jeremy Clearman and Dr. Malcolm Lewis officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Steve Winstead, age 69, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at his home.

Brother Steve was saved June 23, 1979 and was a member of Goodwater Baptist Church. He became well known in this area as an evangelist and soul winner. He was the former owner of Winstead Dental Lab. Steve enjoyed working with his cattle and farming. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather and loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Janice Winstead; children, Micheal Winstead (Lisa), Tammy Rochay (Howard), Dale Winstead (Lisa); grandchildren, Brittney Winstead, Trever Winstead, Kayce Rochay, Sierra Rochay, Reagan Winstead, Hannah Kate Winstead; sister, Alana Jo Apperson (Don); brother, Allen Winstead (Theresa); niece, Amy Apperson.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Winstead; parents, James and Virgie Winstead; sister, Robin Winstead; nephew, Jody Apperson; 1st cousin, Joe Branning.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Goodwater Baptist Church Building Fund: 4986 Goodwater, Enterprise, MS 39330.

Pallbearers will be Ray Chapman, Robert Taylor, Dan Fulton, Charles Dean, Mark Williams, Charles Moseley, Howard Rochay, Sr., Ronnie Hayes, and Larry Brooks.
