Burton Gray

Funeral services for Mr. Burton Gray will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral. Dr. Richard Wallace will officiate the service. Burial will be held at Magnolia Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Gray, age 78, of Meridian passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 15, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Burton was a faithful Christian.  He was a graduate of both Meridian High School and Mississippi State University. He was an avid Mississippi State Fan. Upon graduation, he worked for many years as a pharmaceutical representative where he made numerous friends. Upon retirement, he managed Mr. Discount Drugs. Mr. Gray loved his family. Mr. Gray loved his puppy, Dottie. His wife, children, and grandchildren were his heart.

Survivors include his wife of forty-seven years, Sandra Gray; children, Talmadge “Tal” Gray (Ashley) and their children, Violet and Adelynn, Kimberly McKay (Rex), and Chip Gray; three grandchildren; and his long-time friend, Stewart Bosarge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Winnette Gray and his brother, Bill Gray.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
