Caleb Morris Downey, Jr. Services for Caleb Morris Downey, Jr. will be held Friday, October 1, 2010 at 11:30 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Wayne Smith officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Downey, 83, of Meridian, died Monday, September 27, 2010 at Rush Hospital. He was retired 150th Engineer Battalion, Key Field and a lifelong member of 15th Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughter, Virginia Downey of Ocean, N.J.; son, Clint Downey of Meridian; granddaughter, Michelle Jackson of Fayetteville, NC; grandson, Caleb Downey of Dickson, TN; and two nephews.
