Captain Thomas Dewayne "Bowser" Rowell Services for Captain Thomas Dewayne "Bowser" Rowell will be held Friday, August 10, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David Sellers officiating. Burial will be in the First Baptist Church of Collinsville Cemetery. Mr. Rowell, age 50, of Vimville Community, died Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at Rush Hospital. He was a graduate of West Lauderdale High School, and a retired Captain with the Meridian Fire Department. He was also Station Captain of Key Field National Guard Fire Department. Survivors include his wife, Starla Rowell of Vimville Community; son, Robert Hughes of Vimville Community; daughter, Jennifer Lee of Vimville Community; five grandchildren; parents, Jimmie and Glenda Rowell of Collinsville, MS; and sister, Denise Godwin of Collinsville, MS. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vera and Ralph Grayson; and grandchild, Jesse Dillan Lee. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Stockton, Joey Hand, Keith Lovett, Jamie Bunyard, Charlie Brown and Bud Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be The Meridian Fire Department Past and Present and The National Guard Fire Department Past and Present. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Fire Fighters Family Fund, P.O.
