Carey Peery McNeese Curtis Services for Carey Peery McNeese Curtis will be held Monday, September 27, 2010 at 10:00 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bill Webb officiating. Mrs. Curtis, 63, of Meridian, died Thursday, September 23, 2010 at her residence. She worked her entire career in the medical lab field. Mrs. Curtis was a member of Midway Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and reading and was a huge MSU Bulldog Fan. Survivors include her husband, Gary Curtis of Meridian; daughters, Andrea Laird and her husband Rush of Meridian;Sondra Slay and her husband Greg of Meridian, Amanda Slay and her husband Phillip of Meridian, Michelle Woodall and her husband Joey of Meridian; grandchildren, Kyle Laird, Bailey Laird, Garrett Slay, Katey Grisham, Taylor Slay, Patrick Slay, Tyler Slay, and Corey Woodall; step-daughter, Tammy Bounds of Union; sisters, Myra Naef of Brandon, MS, Rene Fields and her husband David of Eupora, MS; brothers, Arnett Peery and his wife Rachel of Madison, Kenett Peery and his wife Yong Ae of D'Iberville, MS; sister, Melinda Peery of Laurel, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ouida and Everette Peery; first husband, Henry C. McNeese; and step-son, Henry Calvin McNeese. Honorary pallbearers are her brothers and son in laws.
