Graveside services for Mrs. Carlena Wilson will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Highway 493, DeKalb, MS with the Reverend Joshua Drury officiating. Interment will follow graveside rites. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.


Mrs. Wilson, age 89, of the Klondike Community, passed away May 1, 2021 in Gulf Shores, AL.


Mrs. Wilson worked for USF & G Insurance Company in Meridian, MS for many years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Meridian. She was a loved member of the small community of Klondike where she was surrounded by family and the best friends, and neighbors, until she moved to live with her daughter and family in Gulf Shores.


Mrs. Wilson is survived by her daughter, Susan Wilson Bibby; her son-in-law, Jim Bibby; her grandchildren, Justin Bibby and Caleb Bibby, Rebeca Bibby; great-grandchildren, Julian Bibby, Madelyn Bibby, and Evelyn Bibby; her niece, Charlotte Adams, nephew, Ed Wilson, great nephews, Chuck Ward, Matthew Wilson, Andrew Wilson, great nieces, Brenda Senseney, Teresa Stephens, Lisa Coursey, Susan
Barbee, and Debbie Cocco.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Wilson.


The family request memorials be made as a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in lieu of flowers.
