Funeral services for Mrs. Carol C. Jordan will begin at 10:30 AM Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Evangel Temple Church with Pastor Mike Boles and Kim Culpepper officiating. Interment will follow at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Jordan, 90, of Meridian, died Friday, June 30, 2023 at her home.

Mrs. Jordan was a faithful member of Evangel Temple church for 49 years serving faithfully wherever she could be of service. She was the second born of eight children born to W.H. and Maybelle Weathers. She was a second mother to each of her siblings. She carried these traits throughout life and was a loving mother and mamaw to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Carol is survived by her husband of 41 years, Steve Jordan; children Donna Drachenberg (Craig), Glenda Herrington (Terry), Jerry Alexander (Joni), and Susie Box (Thomas) and two bonus children, Kelly Baldwin (Greg) and Doug Jordan (Sabina). Twelve grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, Eight great-great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Mrs. Jordan is preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Jeremy Alexander; her  four brothers, and three sisters.

The Jordan family suggests memorials be made as donations to Evangel Temple Church in lieu of flowers.

Pallbearers will be Keith Rigdon, Kevin Rigdon, Jamie Tucker, Matt Tucker, Adam Box, and Palmer Rigdon.
