Carolyn Brown Curtis

Funeral services for Carolyn Brown Curtis will be held Saturday, February 11, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12:00pm, followed by the funeral service at 1:00pm, with Rev. Jim Wall officiating. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Mrs. Curtis, age 88 of Meridian MS, passed away January 25 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

“Caro” was a lifelong resident of Meridian, and lifelong member of Central United Methodist Church. She is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Sid F. Curtis Jr; son, Lee (Christy) of Trussville, AL, daughters, Sue Steingruber (Billy) of Carrollton, TX and Ann Curtiss (CJ) of Broomfield, CO; grandchildren, Shayne Newsome (Clay), Carrie Steingruber, Jacks Curtiss, Lindsay Harris (Cliff) and Lauren Helton (Trey); five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nolan and Carrie Brown, her brothers, Elbert Brown and Lewis Brown, and her sisters, Allie Pha Brown Temple and Merita Brown Anderson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Central United Methodist Church.
