Services for Carolyn McCary will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Paul Raley and Gary Riley officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. McCary, age 71, of Meridian, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014 at R.P. White Nursing Home.

She was born February 24, 1943 in Meridian, Mississippi. She retired from Bell South after 36 years. Carolyn was a loving mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family, grandkids, and pets, Roko and Prissy.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald McCary; sons, Sam Kennedy and wife, Silvana of Houston, TX, and Jason Kennedy and wife, Kiko of Los Angeles, CA; four grandchildren, Millie, Nicolas, Adrian, and Eames; brother, Harold Green (Nancy), Robert Green (Bo), and Howell Green (Sonny); sisters, Betty Miller of Meridian, MS, and Marilyn Lay Till of Houston, TX; brother-in-law, Mike Whitlock; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Hazel Green; sister, Ann Whitlock; and brother, Tommy Green.

Pallbearers will be Gary Riley, Denton Green, Gary Boatner, Keith McCary, Allen Barnhart, and Justin Green.

Honorary pallbearer will be Michael Whitlock.
