Carolyn Mae Robinson

Carolyn Mae Robinson, age 74, of Meridian, MS passed away Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, at R.P. White Nursing Home in Meridian. Ms. Robinson's body was donated for science and the family will have a private service or celebration of her life at a later date.

She was born on July 7th, 1949, in Meridian, MS. She loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed sitting around telling stories and laughing with everyone. She also enjoyed listening to music and singing along. She had a love for animals including her dog Greta, for beautiful flowers and being outdoors. She had a heart of gold and will be deeply missed by her family and friends and everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Lamar Robinson, her mother Clara Mae Robinson, her brothers Lamar Robinson Jr., Danny Ray Robinson and Robert Robinson, her granddaughter Ashley Belk and grandson Joshua Belk and her partner of several years, Charles Johnson.

She is survived by her brothers Michael Robinson and Jerry Robinson of Meridian, MS, Donald Robinson of Ripley, MS, her sister Wanda Ann Giles of Chatom, Al, her four children Ernest Jackson and his wife Becky of Meridian, Ricky Jackson of Meridian, Carla Belk of Meridian and Teresa Cicala and her partner Timmy of Meridian, her grandchildren Jessica Lang, Christopher Jackson, Tyler Jackson, Trey Belk, Dylan Belk, Heather Hodges, John Joseph Cicala, Tristan Tucker and 10 Great Grandchildren.
