Carolyn Jean Switzer

Memorial services for Carolyn Switzer will be held Friday, July 10, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Northcrest Baptist Church, with Dr. Danny Lanier and Bro. Paul Davis officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Carolyn Switzer, age 72, of Meridian passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020, at Specialty Hospital of Meridian.

She was a devoted member of Northcrest Baptist Church where she loved serving, singing and supporting mission work. In the 1980s and 1990s, Carolyn was The WMU Director of the Northern Plains Southern Baptist Association. Carolyn loved playing piano, organ and singing in the church choir. Carolyn’s favorite hobbies were cooking, crafting, genealogy, and photography. She was a caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother towards her family and her cats. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years Ken Switzer; children, Walter Switzer (Darcey), Suzanne Switzer Pearson (Keith); grandchildren, Caleb, Seth, Abi, Zoey, and David Switzer; siblings, Charles Adams, Clara Spell and Ann Milner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Tommie Adams; grandson, Joshua Switzer.
