Carrie Lou Haskett

Funeral services for Carrie Haskett will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Reverends Sephus Garrett and Dwayne Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Haskett, age 99, of Meridian, passed away May 29 at North Pointe Health and Rehab.

Carrie lived many years in Columbus, MS, and was an LPN at Columbus Hospital. After retirement, she moved to Meridian to be closer to her family. Carrie was a member of Christian Fellowship IMC.

She is survived by her son, Raymond (Betty) Haskett; grandchildren, Terry Haskett and Karen (Glynn) Wedgeworth; great-grandchildren, Josh (Amber) Wedgeworth and Bradley Wedgeworth; great-great-granddaughter, Calli Wedgeworth; sister, Georgie Lee Hall and brother, Daniel Franks, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Ozie Franks; sisters, Exie Sandlin, Edna Smith, Tressie McLendon, Dessie Merchant, and Kathleen McCloud.

Her family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the staff of North Pointe Health and Rehab for the wonderful care she received while a resident there.

Pallbearers will be Terry Haskett, Glynn Wedgeworth, Josh Wedgeworth, Bradley Wedgeworth, Dan Franks, and Josh Knight.
