Cathy Lorene Bodie Services for Cathy Lorene Bodie will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Roy Dabbs officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Bodie, age 45, of Meridian died Saturday, May 7, 2011 at her residence. She was employed by Ponta Creek and Briarwood Golf Courses and worked with the Lauderdale County 911 agency as an operator. Mrs. Bodie was a member of the Daughter of the Nile, Al Phurah Temple Number 126 in Phoenix City, Alabama. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Jimmy Bodie of Meridian; her daughter Kimberly Lacap and her husband Josh of Long Beach, Mississippi; her son Brandon Bodie of Meridian, Mississippi; her parents Flayvous and Kay Ray of Montgomery, AL; her brothers Alfred Lee Ray and his wife Danielle of Reedsburg, Wisconsin, Steven Ray and his wife Tammy of Chillicothe, Ohio; her grandson Skylar Lacap of Long Beach, Mississippi and seven nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be John Holland, Carl R. Lummus, David Pickard, Les Hull, Ben Lockridge, Terry Miller and Tony McNair. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at www.robertbarhamffh.com.
