Cecelia Brown Riley

Funeral services for Mrs. Cecelia Riley will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017, at 11:00a.m. at Union Baptist Church, with Bro. Kyle Routzahn officiating. Burial will follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Riley, age 74, of Quitman passed away December 23, 2017, at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

She was an active member of Union Baptist Church, where she served as the church organist. Her family and friends will remember her as a servant who devoted much of her time to her community and to her church.

She is survived by her children, Deidre (Steve) Smith and Todd (Jennifer) Riley; grandchildren, Kylie (Tyler) Temple, Courtney (Braxton) Boswell, Kayla Riley, Katie Jo Riley, and Kyle (Hanna) Oglesby; great-grandchildren, Riley Temple, Beau and Boone Boswell, and Karter Oglesby; and her three nephews, Mike, Jeff, and Chris Brown.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Thomas Judson Riley; her parents, L.D. and Doris Brown; and her brother, Leland Brown.

The family requests that memorials be made to the cemetery fund of Union Baptist Church.
