Celia Ann Hall Funeral services for Celia Ann Hall will be held Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Chuck Meador officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Hall, age 67, of Meridian, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Celia was a member of Poplar Springs Drive United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed fellowship and learning with her friends in the Shalom Sunday School Class. She was a lifelong resident of Meridian and a graduate of Southeast High School. After graduation, she attended Meridian Community College where she received her Associates Degree. She went on to receive her Bachelor's Degree from the University of West Alabama in 1971. Mrs. Hall taught at Southeast from 1972 until her retirement in 2006. She taught at Crossroads School for five years as well as MCC, until her death. As one of her former students says, "From one little classroom, in one little high school, she touched hundreds of lives, and made our world a better place." Survivors include her husband, Danny Lee Hall; children, Douglas L. Harper (Debby), Amber L. Joyner (Paul); grand-children, Caleb Harper, Will Harper, Adeline Harper, Eleanor Harper, Juni Joyner, Xofia Joyner; siblings, David Little (Sandra), Polly Little, Cathi Harper (Terry); numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh Douglas and Tommie Lou Little. The family requests memorials be made to The American Cancer Society. Pallbearers will be Darrion Goudy, Tony Davidson, Davey Little, Chris Harper, Irby Lang, Frankie Fitzgerald, Jay Haynes and Butch Shannon. Honorary pallbearers are E. Harold Keyes, Dr. John David Voss, and Dr. Frank Harman. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com. Visitation will be held Friday, 5-7 at the funeral home.
