A graveside service for Mrs. Charlene Lightsey will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2021 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church Cemetery, 1823 MS-503, Paulding, Mississippi 39348. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Charlene Lightsey was born on Feb. 3, 1931 and died on March 25, 2021 in Littleton,
MA.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lillian Jeter Lightsey and Ernest Lamar Lightsey. BROTHERS: James Lamar Lightsey, Ernest Leo Lightsey, Thomas Adolph Lightsey and Infant Joseph Lewis Lightsey. SISTER: Mary Lillian Noullet-Cook.
NEPHEWS: Larry DeAngelo III (age 2), Don Bracken and David Sanford McCraw.

Charlene is survived by her SISTERS: Johanna Lightsey Kempisty and husband Walt of
Westerville, OH and Tina Lightsey DeAngelo and husband Larry of Marlboro, MA.
NIECES: Michelle Noullet Bracken and Suzie Noullet McCraw of Meridian, MS,
Terri Lynn Kempisty of Westerville, OH, Laura DeAngelo and Tina Lynne DeAngelo
Haugen of MA. NEPHEWS: Walter Edward Kempisty, JR. of Westerville, OH,
Scott DeAngelo of New York, Joseph Edward Kempisty of Seattle, WA, and Michael Edward Kempisty of Los Angeles, CA. GREAT NIECES: Tiffany Bracken Evans and husband Dustin of Newton, MS, Gabrielle Solomons and husband Laurence of Paris, France and Alanna Kempisty of Los angeles, CA. GREAT NEPHEWS: Don Bracken of Meridian, MS, Tyler McCraw and wife Donielle of Enterprise, MS, John David McCraw of Meridian, MS and Devin Kempisty of Los Angeles, CA. GREAT GREAT NIECES: Josie Bracken and Amelia Claire Bracken of Meridian, MS, Charlotte Solomons and Lucie Solomons of Paris, France. GREAT GREAT NEPHEWS: Mason McCraw and Ty Majer McCraw of Enterprise, MS and Cameron Evans of Newton, MS.

Charlene enjoyed sewing and helping her mother Lillian cook for family during the holidays. She was devoted daughter to her mother Lillian whom she took care of for many years. Charlene was a special aunt to her oldest nieces Michelle, Suzie, and Teresa who was her Godchild and her Nephew Walt, Jr. She will always be remembered by them as “Aunt PoPo”. Before retiring Charlene worked at Digital Equipment Corp. of Maynard, MA.
