Charles Louis Cobb Lauderdale, MS A funeral service remembering the life of Charles Louis Cobb will be held Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 12:00 noon at Lauderdale United Methodist Church with Reverend Davey Wilkinson and Reverend Jody Pittman officiating. Graveside services will be in Oxford Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Charles "Stump" Louis Cobb, 33, of Lauderdale, MS, was called home to the Lord on Dec 8, 2014 in Scott County. Charles was born on March 19, 1981, and was a 1999 graduate of Lamar High School where he earned his nickname proudly playing football as a lineman for the Raiders. Charles drove a truck for Universal Logistics. A charming, caring, and gentle soul, Charles enjoyed reading & playing video games. Exceedingly generous toward others, Charles especially enjoyed entertaining his friends with his culinary talents. A member of Lauderdale United Methodist Church, Charles often credited the Lord's hand in directing his life to a loving family that raised him to grow in knowledge of the Lord. Charles is survived by his mother, Vickey Cobb of Lauderdale, MS; brother, Thad Cobb and wife, Tammy of Lauderdale, MS, and his nephew, Robby Edwards; aunts, Martha Beall of Kosciusko, MS, & Carolyn McClung and husband, Frank of Spring, TX; cousins, Brian & Jimmy McLaughlin, Peter McClung, and Wendy Bulcroft. Charles was preceded in death by his father, Luther Ray Cobb, and his grandparents, Raymond & Mildred Cobb of Lauderdale, MS, and Victor & Pansy Meador of Shreveport, LA. Pallbearers will include Family and friends may sign the online guest book at robertbarhamffh.com Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Lauderdale United Methodist Church.
