Charles Robert Dulaney, Sr.

Funeral services for Charles Robert Dulaney, Sr. will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church, with Brothers Kevin Jones and Paul Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Meridian Memorial Park, with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Dulaney, 79, of Meridian, passed away October 3rd at Anderson Hospital.

Charles will be remembered as a faithful and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He was always the life of the party and had many stories to share. Above all, he loved the Lord and spent his life serving Him as a Deacon of the church and teaching Sunday school.

He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Mary Nell Dulaney; children, Melissa Hayden, Darlene (Robbie) Jones, Robert (Linda) Dulaney, and Randy (Karen) Dulaney; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brother, Tommy (Rebecca) Dulaney; and many nieces, nephews, and friends who were as close as family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elton and Lucille Dulaney.

The family requests memorials be made in his honor to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Pallbearers will be George Reed, Jerry Dickerson, Ronnie Warren, Dennis Hicks, Richard Sudduth, and Cole Cardwell. Honorary pallbearers are Howard Beeland, Edgar Bracken, and Bill Jones.
