Charles "Chuck" Fontan Funeral services for Chuck Fontan will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Westwood Baptist Church with Rev. Richie Davis and Rev. Bill Webb officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Fontan, age 57, of Enterprise, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Fontan was a deacon at Westwood Baptist Church. He retired from Meridian & Bigbee Railroad Company after almost 20 years of railroad service. He was a huge Alabama Football fan, but his love for Alabama didn't compare to his immense love for his family, especially his grandchildren. From a young age, he taught his grandchildren to say "ROLL TIDE". Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Cheryl Fontan; sons, Chris Fontan and wife, Amy, and Corey Fontan and wife, Kim; grandchildren, Jack, Jace, Ally, and Lyla; sister, Debbie Scarborough and husband, James; mother-in-law, Mae Ward; special aunt, Mildred Lewis; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Ray Fontan; mother, Dean Fontan; sister, Tena Fontan; maternal and paternal grandparents. Pallbearers will be Gary Stokes, Gary Applebee, Wade Parker, Adrian Woodard, Gower Webb, David Hartzler, and Wesley Landrum. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.
