Charles Van Hagwood

A memorial gathering for Charles Van Hagwood will be held on Saturday, February 15 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.

Charles Van Hagwood, age 68, passed away February 10, 2020 at Specialty Hospital of Meridian.

Van retired from Georgia Pacific in Pennington, Alabama after 40 years of employment.

Van is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Bobbie Davidson Hagwood; a daughter, Angela Harrison (Mark); a son, Chris Hagwood (Kym); grandchildren, Trevor Davidson, Ethan Abston, Lexie Hagwood, and Lane Hagwood; a brother, Bobby Hagwood (Tommie); a sister, Faye Davis (Danny); nieces, Lisa Hagwood McGrew and Nicke Ivy Trahan; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Van was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Janie Fisher Hagwood; a nephew, Lavelle Hagwood; a niece, Lora Hagwood Jones; and his parents-in-law, R.C. and Tommie Joyce Davidson.
