Charles Everette Jones Services for Charles Everette Jones will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Danny Lanier officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery south of Chunky with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Jones, 80, of Meridian died January 13, 2014, at Rush Hospital. He retired after twenty years of service from the Air Force and he worked for Stephens Funeral Home for over ten years. Mr. Jones was a member of Northcrest Baptist Church where he was a deacon. Survivors include his wife, Edna Jones of Meridian, sons, Dennis Jones and wife Angie of Columbus, and Tony Jones and wife Sharon of Purvis; grandchildren, Brooks Jones and wife Olivia, Brittany Jones, Brandon Jones all of Columbus, Summer Jones Webb and husband Dusty of Meridian, Chelsea Jones Pierce and husband Tyler of Collinsville and Steven Jones of Columbia; great-grandchildren, Olivia Webb and Parker Webb of Meridian, Hannah, Gracie, and Mike Jones all of Columbia and brother, Leonard E. Jones and wife Judy of Meridian. He was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Jones and parents William and Dora Hardy Jones. Pallbearers will be Johnny Russell, Peter Russell, James Smith, Kenny Partridge, James Thorne and Donald Jones. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.
