Charles Lowery

A funeral service for Charles Lowery will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Dr. Dan Lanier officiating. A visitation will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the funeral home prior to service in the chapel. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Charles Lowery, age 90, of Meridian passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Baptist Anderson Regional Hospital.

Survivors include his children, Kay Joiner (Charlie), Teresa Church, Sherry Salter (Larry), and Bobby Lowery (Karen); 8 grandchildren, Jennifer Wilson (Eric Ray), Kelly McNair (Eric), Sharon Keene (Chris), Jeff Church (Holly), Kristin Williams (Raymond), Morgan Hucks, Renae Lowery, and Chris Lowery; 19 great-grandchildren, sisters, Regina Ditzel, JoAnn Larrieu (Klaus), and Dorothy Calvert; nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Nell Lowery; parents, Coleman and Naomi Lowery; brother, James M. Lowery (Helen).

Pallbearers will be great-grandsons.

The Lowery family would like to extend their gratitude to the Aldersgate Community, residents and staff, for the love and kindness shown to their father.
