Charlie Pearson

Funeral services for Mr. Charlie Pearson will be held Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Hutchinson officiating. Interment will follow at Old Marion Cemetery. The family will receive guests an hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

Charles "Charlie" Pearson age, 77, of Meridian, MS, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2026.

Charlie was a Car Salesman at some of the largest car dealerships in the state, in Jackson and Meridian. He believed in taking great care of his customers and worked by the Zig Ziglar quote "There are no traffic jams on the extra mile."

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Cathy Pearson, son, Michael Jason Pearson, sister Mary Ann Robbins, sister-in-law, Judy Pearson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Lewis Pearson Jr., parents, Preston H. Pearson and Mary Louise Pearson, brothers, Preston Wayne Pearson Sr. and Robert E. Pearson.

Pallbearers will be Brad Richardson, Preston Pearson Jr., Rodney Pearson, Bruce Saterfield, Jimmy Rigdon, William Hagwood. Honorary pallbearers will be Will Pearson and Alan Hagwood.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to the American Alzheimer's Association .
