The family of Mr. Charles L. "Charlie" Price, Jr. will hold memorial services for him at a later date. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Mr. Price, age 70, of Toomsuba passed away on May 21, 2026 at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans.
Charlie was born on June 17, 1955 in Oceanside, California. He graduated from Ione High School in Ione, California in 1974. After graduation, he joined the United States Navy, from which he retired, after twenty years of honorable service. Following his retirement from the Navy, he began working for Meridian Community College. Charlie was an avid motorcyclist and even served as the president of the Meridian Chapter of the Southern Cruisers Motorcycle Club.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha Price; son, Charles L. "Chuck" Price, III; step-daughter, Terri Marie McCord; grandchildren, Breanna Nichole Price, Charles L. Price, IV, Jenna Nichole Williams, Paisley Marie Price, Cayden Fitzgerald, Landon Goodin, and Makayla Lopez; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Kathy Ardnt (Chuck), Venus Mendence (Bob), Laura Self (Earl), and Jim Price (Nancy); and numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sons, John Michael Price and Stephen Lee Price; and his parents, Charles L Price, Sr. and Joan Clary.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Price be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
