Charles Bub Stinnette

Mr. Charles “Bub” Stinnette, age 87, of Russell, MS, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023, at his home.  Robert Barham Family Funeral home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Bub was a loving and dedicated husband, father, and friend.  During his 60-year career as a master finish contractor, he made many lifelong friends with his customers.  Bub enjoyed bluegrass music and played the guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and banjo.  He also loved the mountains of Virginia.  Bub’s deep and personal love of Jesus Christ was evident throughout his life.

Bub is survived by his wife of 47 years, Vi; his sons Mike (Christina), David (Stacey), and Todd (Allison); grandchildren Jason, Krystle, and Michelle; great-granddaughters Tegan Galyen, Harper Smith, and Marley Smith; and sister Mary White.

Bub is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Margaret Stinnette, and brothers Billy, Babs, and Jack.

In place of a traditional funeral service, a Celebration of Life in his honor will be held at a future date.
