Graveside services for Charles Stubbs will be held Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at Meridian Memorial Park with Chaplain Sweeney officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Stubbs, age 89, of Meridian passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at James T. Champion Nursing Facility.

He is survived by his son, Charlie Stubbs of Carson, California; step-children, T.C. Glover Jr., Earnestine Roberts, Louise McCollum (Marvin), Roger “Buddy” Dale Glover and Carlene Ethridge; eighteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; brother, Tommie Stubbs (Carol) of Magee, Mississippi; a special cousin, Doris Jones; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae Stubbs; son, Billy Stubbs; daughter, Brenda Borde; parents, J.W. and Sally Stubbs; brother, Mack Stubbs; and sisters, Jackie Williamson and Jane Llewellyn.
