Charles Edward (Chuck) Thomas Services for Chuck Thomas will be held Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Dr. Danny Lanier and Reverend Paul Davis officiating. Burial will be in Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Thomas, 47, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Sunday, September 4, 2011, at Anderson Regional Medical Center South Campus. Survivors include his mother and step-father Jane and Billy Covington; step-sister Rhonda Covington; step-brother Craig Covington all of Meridian; uncle William H. (Bud) Boyette and his wife Mary of Greencastle, IN; aunts Katherine Rutledge, Barbara Strahan of Gautier; special friend Sue Pinkerton; grandchildren Zeus Thompson, Michael Creekmore, Chloe Adams of Meridian and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Ed Thomas; grandparents Ebb and Hettie Boyette; uncles Everett Boyette and Jack Boyette. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors on 2nd Floor at Anderson Regional Medical Center South Campus and especially thanks to the Emergency Room physician Dr. John Dickson.
