Charles A. Whitlock Graveside services for Charles A. Whitlock will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Brother Bill Webb officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Whitlock, age 65, of Meridian, passed away Friday, September 12, 2014 at his residence. He was a veteran retired as a Chief Master Sergeant from the Mississippi Air National Guard after 30 plus years of service. Mr. Whitlock was the past commander of the Sons of Confederate Veterans Nathan Bedford Forest Camp, and Charter President of South Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Adele Whitlock; son, Chad A. Whitlock and fiancé, Chelsey Holland; mother, Kathleen Rhodes; sister, Gwen Paulin and husband, Joe; brother-in-law, Ben Avara and fiancé, Delena Barrett; and numerous nephews.
