Cheryl R. Brown

Funeral services for Cheryl Brown will be held Thursday, March 24, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Brother Randy Caldwell officiating.  Burial will follow at Pine Springs Southern Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Brown, 60, of Meridian, passed away March 20 at UMC in Jackson.

Cheryl was a medical technician and retired from Meridian Oncology and Associates in 2010.  She was very involved with Pine Springs Southern Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school.  Above all, her family was her greatest treasure and they always came first.

She is survived by her husband of thirty-five years, David Brown; her children, April Bennett and Matt Brown; grandchildren, Shantel Brown and Gage Daniels; her mother, Opal Armfield; siblings, Sonya (Dan) Britt, Darlene (Richard) Kinard, Dewayne Armfield, and Leon Armfield; brother-in-law, Charlie (Betty) Brown, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, C.M. Armfield; and sister, Vicki White.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to American Cancer Society.
