Chester Lyn Joyner Graveside services for Mr. Chester Lyn Joyner will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 11:00 at Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery, with Reverend Joe Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Joyner, 57, of Meridian, died Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was self employed as a carpenter. Mr. Joyner served 13 years in the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his mother, Ruth Baughman of Meridian; brothers, James Joyner, Clifford Joyner, Paul Joyner, Mark Joyner and Jamie Joyner all of Meridian; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James Lewis Joyner, Sr., and brother, David Joyner. The family requests memorials be made to Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
