Chris L. Gartman, Jr.

Mr. Gartman, age 78, of Meridian passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at his residence. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Gartman had a great love and appreciate for country music. He was known for saying, “It doesn’t matter whether it’s right or wrong, things will be done MY way, the Gartman way.”

Mr. Gartman is survived by his children, Christina Hughes (Steven), Christopher Gartman (Jennifer), Chris Lebaron Gartman, III, and Charles Lester Gartman; grandchildren, Shelia Jaurez (Joseph), Jeremy Hughes, Megan Hughes, Hanna Hughes, Christopher T. Gartman, Athena Gartman, Jeremy and Savanah; his partner in life, Hazel Gartman; and one brother, Jerry Gartman (Esther).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chris Lebaron Gartman, Sr. and Winfred Gartman; and one daughter, Cathy L. Gartman.

The family requests memorials be made to the Temple Theater in Meridian.
