Christopher (Chris) Michael Myers

Funeral services for Christopher (Chris) Michael Myers will be held Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Briggs Chapel, with Reverend Nick Holden officiating. Burial will be at Briggs Chapel Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Myers, age 38, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 in Meridian.

Chris grew up in the Dalewood community.  He attended Northeast High School. He had lived in Gulf Shores, Alabama and worked for Simmons Wrecker Service and Gipson Steel. Chris loved everybody he met and shared Jesus with many people.

Survivors include his wife, Piper Sharp Myers; daughters, Olivia and Magnolia; stepfather and mother, Steve and Denise Shumate; father and stepmother, Ted and Angie Myers; brother, Brandon Myers; sister, Erica Myers; grandparents, Ed and Yvonne Walters; grandmother, Gladys Harry; grandfather, David L. Myers, Jr.; a niece and nephew, numerous cousins and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Billy Gene Harry and grandmother, Wevett Myers.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Myers, Ronnie McClelland, Dusty Simmons, Rusty Calvert, Mickey Dial, and Daniel Mayfield.
